Our ceramic artists create a broad selection of unique and colourful items, all hand-made here in wales. Stop by the shop to see what they have in store for you!

Nantyfelin Pottery

They work using a Terra Cotta clay which is either finished in their “Misty Blue” glaze or decorated using the highly skilled technique of sgraffito. Each piece is individually drawn through the white overcoat of clay by hand and then after the first firing coloured and fired again.

Siramik

Yoka creates individually designed, hand crafted and decorated domestic ceramics.

COVID-19 Update

We have worked hard to make our shop safe, with a hand sanitiser at the entrance and a screen around the till area at. Face coverings are welcome for those that wish to wear them.

Origin is a co-operative of makers and artists from Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Ceredigion with its shop based in the busy market town of Carmarthen. In the shop you will find a wide range of high quality handcrafted ceramics, glass, jewellery, metal, textiles, wood and cards as well as a wide range of original art work and prints.
