Criw Celf develops and nurtures young talent in the visual and applied arts. It is primarily aimed at school aged children who have demonstrated a particular talent or potential in the visual and applied arts. Criw Celf actively contributes to the Welsh Government's More Able and Talented (MAT) agenda. It also forms a key part of the Arts Council of Wales Young Creators strategy around 'Developing Young Talent'. The programme proactively identifies and nurtures more able and talented young people in the visual arts and comprises projects across Wales who's primary purpose is to focus on talent development and where activity is targeted at a particular cohort of young people selected for their potential or ability."
