Andrew Warren

I'm a landscape photographer working almost exclusively in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire.

In 2016 I was shortlisted for The Outdoor Photographer of The Year Competition, and have won a number of other competitions & awards.  My aim is to provide an interpretation of what I see around me, and increasingly seek to find the extraordinary in the every day.  My preferred medium is black & white, but I also work extensively with coloured images.

As well as landscapes, I also undertake commissions & do a small amount of commercial work.  I find documentary photography hugely rewarding (if not very commercial!), and I enjoy experimenting with finding forms of communication through the photographic image.  To date, I have completed one such project that has resulted in a self published book, available here and am currently just over a year in to documenting the village where I live (Cenarth), in a project likely to last another couple of years, and result in another book: "Sketches of A Place: Cenarth Outside In".  As a former secondary school teacher, I enjoy offering one to one, bespoke photography workshops, the details of which can be found on my website.
