My expressive, semi -abstract seascapes capture the changing forces of nature, evoking the sensation of being immersed in the tides, from raging seas to calmer waters.

Holding a degree in Fine Art painting, I spent 30 years teaching Art and Design. Throughout this period, I continued to explore landscape through regular painting trips and can always be found with a sketchbook to hand, drawing my inspiration from places across the globe.

After completing my teaching career, a move to Pembrokeshire has allowed me to indulge my passion for paint and all things water, where I have become obsessed with the sea. It is my inspiration for both my paintings and my ceramics. As a passionate wild water swimmer, I draw my inspiration from the quieter coves and tidal edges, translating these experiences into my artwork.

Origin is a co-operative of makers and artists from Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Ceredigion with its shop based in the busy market town of Carmarthen.
