During the lockdown Anita’s focus, like most people, has been about home. She has been gardening, shopping for friends and neighbours who are shielding and doing some jobs around the house that just get put off under normal circumstances.
She has also continued to run her Art Workshops via Zoom, providing 1-1 tuition. The venue for the workshops is currently being readied for reopening as soon as it’s safe to do so in compliance with the current government advice.
And, alongside the usual sketching, Anita has just finished ‘Home Before Midnight’, a mixed media painting.

We have worked hard to make our shop safe, with a hand sanitiser at the entrance and a screen around the till area at. Face coverings are welcome for those that wish to wear them.
Origin is a co-operative of makers and artists from Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Ceredigion with its shop based in the busy market town of Carmarthen. In the shop you will find a wide range of high quality handcrafted ceramics, glass, jewellery, metal, textiles, wood and cards as well as a wide range of original art work and prints.
