Usually Ali would spend many hours daily, beavering away in her studio creating felt pictures but lockdown has given her a chance to catch up with all those long neglected jobs in the garden and at home and she's loved it! The studio door has remained enticingly open and now all jobs are completed, Ali is back to making new work and dyeing lots of Blue faced Leicester curls to give texture and colour to her pictures.

We have worked hard to make our shop safe, with a hand sanitiser at the entrance and a screen around the till area at. Face coverings are welcome for those that wish to wear them.
Origin is a co-operative of makers and artists from Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Ceredigion with its shop based in the busy market town of Carmarthen. In the shop you will find a wide range of high quality handcrafted ceramics, glass, jewellery, metal, textiles, wood and cards as well as a wide range of original art work and prints.
